Maulana Syed Mohammad Zaki Baqri​​ Founding member & resident alim of CIG since 1984.

Maulana Syed Zaki Baqri is an interpreter of Islam, represe nting the true Islam of prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.W) and the twelve Imam’s (A.S) after him (S.A.W.W) and in line with the school of Wali e Faqih-A rare combination indeed these days to be found in West.

Maulana Baqri has been instrumental in providing very needed spiritual leadership to the Muslim community in Toronto area since 1979.

Founding member & resident alim of CIG since Hails originally from Alipur, Karnataka, India. Has been instrumental in providing spiritual leadership to the Shia community in GTA area since Maulana Baqri has written several books and course curriculum’s from learning Quran, to questions about pre-destiny and free will.
